It's Miller Time...
Roger Ebert on The Spirit.... "(the film) is mannered to the point of madness. There is not a trace of human emotion in it. To call the characters cardboard is to insult a useful packing material."
I don't think he enjoyed it. Does anyone actually want to pay money to see this film?....

Hi Colin,
I love your work and your pictures.
I keep a blog on aviation and air combat simulation in Spanish. I have published an article of Battler Britton on my blog: Piloto de Combate (Combat Pilot). I've written about your work and the attached link of this blog and your site.
If you ever need information on fighter aircraft or warbird, I have enough information. You can also use the air combat simulator IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 as a base or reference models of airplanes in the Second World War. Did you know?
Best regards

you're one of the ones I was waiting an opinion about...and you confirmed the feeling i had watching the trailer.
By te way I need you confirm me your address is the same where I sent the pack last time so I can send you new Milazzo stuff beg of January.
Not after that review or now having seen the preview. Previews are meant to make you want to see a movie aren't they?
Frank Miller inspires me even less as a director than he does as a comic creator- these days.

Dunno. Maybe Chris Weston?

I, for one, will be boycotting this sad and sorry film. Frank has gone too far in his attempt at being an ass hole. Sorry about that but it's how I feel! I have met both of them, I knew Will well, and I can't understand what Miller's thinking behind this is, if he has any respect for Eisner or his much loved character.
There, my first rant of the year!
I hope the new year treats you well Colin...looking forward to seeing what you get up to.
From the previews I've seen, it looks like another Sin City... and The Spirit ISN'T Sin City.
I'm not spending a cent on this film.
